Anco
Anco is a low-density granular explosive based on porous ammonium nitrate and fuel.
USE CASES
For use in soft or semi-hard rock masses, it offers excellent performance when used as a column charge due to the volume of gases generated. Recommended use for use in quarries and open-pit mines, or civil construction works, being used exclusively in dry holes.
Forms of Application
The Anco is supplied in properly labelled 25kg bags. It comes in free flowing granular form. Its use is done manually and must be carried out only by qualified personnel.
TYPE OF INITIATION
A Gemulex Extra Rouge or Gemulex Super 100 cartridge should be used for proper initiation.
STORAGE
The ANCO is supplied in waterproof bags containing 25kg of material. It can be stored up to 6 months after the date of manufacture. It should be kept in warehouses with adequate ventilation and at temperatures not exceeding 35º.
TRANSPORT
Transport is carried out in containerized vehicles duly authorized for this purpose.
SAFETY
ANCO is a class 1.1D explosive product and all safety standards must be complied with in relation to the use of this class of products. Handle with care. Risk of ignition if exposed to shock, friction, fire, or other sources of ignition.
