USE CASES
Gemulex Extra Rouge is the ideal explosive for use as a bottom or column charge , due to its high energy value. Great for use in hard and very hard rock masses, it offers excellent performance when used as a bottom load in quarries, open pit work, tunnelling or trenching.
Forms of Application
Gemulex Extra Rouge is supplied in cartridges of different diameters, its application is carried out manually only by qualified personnel. Due to its water-resistant characteristic, it can be applied in dry holes or in the presence of water.
TYPE OF INITIATION
Minimal initiation with a 6D detonator, or 8g/m detonating cord.
STORAGE
Gemulex Extra Rouge is supplied in 25kg cardboard boxes, containing cartridges with cross laminated film wrappers specially designed for this use and can be stored up to 12 months after the date of manufacture. It should be kept in warehouses with adequate ventilation and at temperatures not exceeding 35º.
TRANSPORT
Transport is carried out in containerized vehicles duly authorized for this purpose.
SAFETY
Gemulex Extra Rouge is a class 1.1D explosive product and all safety regulations must be complied with for the use of this class of products. Handle with care. Risk of ignition if exposed to shock, friction, fire, or other sources of ignition.
